Mammoth donations to Reform UK are the latest obscene example. In just 24 hours, two men donated £72 million — more than the seven largest political parties spent in total ahead of the last General Election.

 

What do they want in return? 

 

When big billionaires can donate mammoth figures and buy influence, the voices of ordinary people are drowned out. Meanwhile, voters are struggling with the cost of living and NHS waiting lists, our voices unheard. This isn’t right or fair.

 

We need a political system that works for all of us, not just those at the top. These donations break all historical records, and until immediate action is taken, there’s no telling where this will end. Politicians are selling influence and the mega-rich are buying it.
